Description:

An estimate of the maximum number of VLANs about which the local system can recover complete VTP information after a reboot. If the number of defined VLANs is greater than this value, then the system can not act as a VTP Server. For a device which has no means to calculate the estimated number, this value is -1.

What is vtpMaxVlanStorage?

This object provides an estimate of the maximum number of VLANs for which the local switch can recover complete VTP (VLAN Trunking Protocol) information after a system reboot. If the number of defined VLANs exceeds this value, the switch cannot operate as a VTP server. An operator would review this limit to ensure the VLAN configuration fits within the device's storage capacity.
