What is vsiLogicalIfTrapEnable?
This read-write TruthValue object enables or disables both the vsiLogicalIfUp and vsiLogicalIfDown SNMP notifications together. An administrator enables this to be notified immediately when a VSI logical interface transitions up or down, which is useful for catching link issues affecting cross-connects. For example, with this trap enabled, a logical interface failing due to a line alarm would trigger a vsiLogicalIfDown notification.
