Description: The current administrative (configured) state of the interface, as reported to the VSI master by the VSI slave. down(1): the interface is not a valid interface for the controller. up(2): the interface is configured for use by the controller. pendingDown(3): the interface is being removed from service, and the controller is requested to remove all connections.

What is vsiLogicalIfAdminState?

This read-only INTEGER reports the administrative state that the slave has communicated for a VSI logical interface, distinguishing down (not usable by this controller), up (actively configured for use), and pendingDown (being taken out of service, with the controller asked to tear down its connections). An administrator watches for pendingDown to know that cross-connects on that interface are being actively withdrawn rather than simply failed. For example, seeing an interface move to pendingDown explains why its cross-connects are disappearing even though no fault has been reported.
