cVpcPeerKeepAliveTosByte
Module: CISCO-VPC-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-VPC-MIB::cVpcPeerKeepAliveTosByte
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.807.1.1.1.1.12
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Unsigned32
Access: read-write
Description: This object specifies the ToS-Byte value used for peer-keepalive messages.
Only low eight-bit byte of this double word is used. Bit 0 is reserved. Bits 1 to 5 represent the value of cVpcPeerKeepAliveTos. Bits 6 to 8 come into cVpcPeerKeepAlivePrecedence. ToS-Byte indicates the value of the whole byte including ToS, Precedence and reserved bit 0.
What is cVpcPeerKeepAliveTosByte?
This read-write Unsigned32 (0-255) specifies the full ToS-Byte value used for vPC peer-keepalive messages, where only the low eight bits are used, bit 0 is reserved, bits 1-5 represent the value in cVpcPeerKeepAliveTos, and bits 6-8 correspond to cVpcPeerKeepAlivePrecedence. Administrators can use this single object to set the combined ToS/Precedence byte directly, rather than configuring cVpcPeerKeepAliveTos and cVpcPeerKeepAlivePrecedence separately. For example, an admin who already knows the exact desired byte value from a network-wide QoS policy could set it here in one step instead of computing and setting the two component fields individually.
