What is cVpcPeerKeepAliveStatus?
This read-only INTEGER reports the current vPC peer-keepalive status, such as disabled, alive, peerUnreachable, aliveButDomainIdDismatch, or suspended states like during an ISSU or when the destination IP is unreachable. Administrators monitor this as the primary health indicator for the vPC control plane, since a failed peer-keepalive combined with a failed peer-link is the classic precursor to a dangerous dual-active (split-brain) scenario. For example, seeing this object report peerUnreachable(3) would immediately alert the admin to investigate the keepalive path, since losing this signal on top of any peer-link issue risks both switches becoming independently active.
