Module: CISCO-VOICE-TONE-CADENCE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-VOICE-TONE-CADENCE-MIB::cvtcTonePlanStorageType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.356.1.1.1.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: StorageType

Access: read-only

Description: This object specifies the storage type for this conceptual row. If this conceptual row represents a system built-in tone plan, the value of this object is readOnly (5). If this conceptual row represents an user defined tone plan, the value of this object is nonVolatile (3).

The built-in tone plans will be added by the system automatically at the system start-up. They can not be added, deleted or modified by user.

What is cvtcTonePlanStorageType?

This read-only StorageType object reports readOnly(5) for system built-in tone plans and nonVolatile(3) for user-defined tone plans, with built-in plans being added automatically at system startup and unable to be added, deleted, or modified by the user. Administrators use it to quickly distinguish which tone plan entries are fixed, vendor-provided defaults versus which ones they configured themselves and can modify. For example, an admin attempting to edit a tone plan that unexpectedly fails would check this object first to confirm whether it's actually a read-only built-in plan rather than their own custom entry.
