What is cvsVSLPortRxBadPkts?

This Counter32 tracks received VSL packets that were found to be in an invalid state. Since VSL packets carry the protocol handshake that keeps a virtual switch's two chassis coordinated, packets in an invalid state suggest the peer or the link itself is malfunctioning. An operator noticing this counter increase alongside link flaps would inspect the VSL port's physical layer or the peer switch's software state.
