Access: read-only
Description: This object indicates the current operational state of the virtual device.
What is ciscoVdcState?
This read-only INTEGER reports the current operational state of a virtual device, such as active, suspended, nonconfigured, configured, or creating. An admin checks this to confirm a VDC has actually finished coming up before routing production traffic to it, since 'creating' and 'configured' are transitional states short of fully active. If a newly provisioned VDC stays stuck in creating(5) longer than expected, that signals a provisioning problem worth investigating before traffic is cut over.
