cufwConnNumSetupsAborted
Module: CISCO-UNIFIED-FIREWALL-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-UNIFIED-FIREWALL-MIB::cufwConnNumSetupsAborted
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.491.1.1.4.1.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter64
Access: read-only
Description: The number of connection setup attempts, corresponding to the protocol denoted by 'cufwConnProtocol', that were aborted before the connection could proceed to completion. The counter includes setup attempts aborted by the firewall as well as those aborted by the initiator and/or the responder(s) of/to the connection setup attempt.
Consequently, this value subsumes the values of objects 'cufwConnNumPolicyDeclined' and 'cufwConnNumResDeclined'.
This value is accumulated from the last reboot of the firewall.
What is cufwConnNumSetupsAborted?
This is a 64-bit counter of connection setup attempts for the specific protocol denoted by cufwConnProtocol that were aborted before reaching completion, whether by the firewall, the initiator, or the responder; like its global counterpart, this value subsumes the per-protocol policy-declined and resource-declined counts. An admin uses this to isolate which specific protocol is experiencing setup failures rather than relying only on the aggregate global figure. For example, seeing this counter climb only for one protocol row while others stay flat tells the admin the problem is specific to that protocol's traffic, not a firewall-wide issue.
