cudldpIfFastHelloInterval

Module: CISCO-UDLDP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-UDLDP-MIB::cudldpIfFastHelloInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.118.1.2.1.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies the fast hello interval at which each port sends a hello packet to all of its neighbors at steady state. By setting this object to a positive value, this interface is enabled to send UDLD hello packet at a fast interval as specified by this object value.

Setting this object to zero value, this interface is disabled to send UDLD hello packet at fast interval. Instead, the interface will send the UDLD hello packet at the interval as specified by cudldpHelloInterval object (or cudldpHelloIntervalExt if a platform supports cudldpHelloIntervalExt).

What is cudldpIfFastHelloInterval?

A read-write setting that enables and configures a fast hello interval on a specific interface, causing UDLD hello packets to be sent to neighbors more frequently than the standard interval.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.118.1.2.1.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UDLDP-MIB::cudldpIfFastHelloInterval

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.118.1.2.1.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UDLDP-MIB::cudldpIfFastHelloInterval.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.118.1.2.1.1.6.1 i <value>
