Description: TrBRFs on which traps to this target are sent. Each octet within the value of this object specifies a set of eight TrBRFs, with the first octet specifying TrBRFs 1 through 8, the second octet specifying TrBRFs 9 through 16, etc. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the lowest numbered TrBRF, and the least significant bit represents the highest numbered TrBRF. Thus, each TrBRF of the stack is represented by a single bit within the value of this object. If that bit has a value of '1' then that TrBRF is included in the set of TrBRFs sending traps; the TrBRF is not included if its bit has a value of '0'. The default is all zeros. Reading all of the entries in the ciscoTsTrBRFInfoTable will give the possible valid bits that can be set. A value of all FF's will enable traps on all configured TrBRFs.

What is ciscoTsTrapRcvrTrBRFs?

This read-write OCTET STRING (128 bytes) is a bitmask selecting which TrBRFs' traps get forwarded to this particular receiver, with each bit position mapping to one TrBRF number as spelled out in the description. This lets an admin route traps from only specific Token Ring VLANs to a given NMS rather than flooding every receiver with every TrBRF's events. For example, setting only the bit for TrBRF 5 sends this receiver traps solely from that VLAN's switches.
