ciscoTsTrCRFInfoSpanningTreeInternalPortMode

Module: CISCO-TS-STACK-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-TS-STACK-MIB::ciscoTsTrCRFInfoSpanningTreeInternalPortMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.32.6.1.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Used when configuring manual spanning tree. Setting this object to forwarding(2) or blocking(3) overrides the spanning tree's algorithm for TrCRF's logical internal port that connects it to the TrBRF.

What is ciscoTsTrCRFInfoSpanningTreeInternalPortMode?

This read-write enum lets an admin manually pin the spanning tree state, forwarding(2) or blocking(3), of this TrCRF's internal logical port, the one that connects the TrCRF up to its parent TrBRF, overriding the TrCRF's own spanning tree algorithm on just that internal link. This is a more targeted override than ciscoTsPortCfgSpanningTreeMode, which pins a physical port; here the admin is manually controlling the logical bridging relationship between a TrCRF and its TrBRF specifically. An admin isolating whether a TrCRF-to-TrBRF loop exists would force this internal port to blocking(3) as a diagnostic step rather than manipulating physical ports.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.32.6.1.1.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-TS-STACK-MIB::ciscoTsTrCRFInfoSpanningTreeInternalPortMode

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.32.6.1.1.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-TS-STACK-MIB::ciscoTsTrCRFInfoSpanningTreeInternalPortMode.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.32.6.1.1.7.1 i <value>
