ciscoTsTrCRFInfoSpanningTreeBridgeHelloTime
Module: CISCO-TS-STACK-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-TS-STACK-MIB::ciscoTsTrCRFInfoSpanningTreeBridgeHelloTime
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.32.6.1.1.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Timeout
Access: read-write
Description: The value to be used as the Hello Time in this TrCRF. The range for this parameter is 100 to 1000. The granularity of this timer is specified to be 1/100 of a second. This agent will return a 'badValue' error if a set is attempted to a value which is not a whole number of seconds.
What is ciscoTsTrCRFInfoSpanningTreeBridgeHelloTime?
This read-write Timeout sets the Hello Time for this TrCRF's spanning tree instance, valid from 100 to 1000 in units of 1/100 second (1 to 10 seconds) and restricted to whole-second values by the agent. This is how often the root bridge for this TrCRF sends out configuration BPDUs to maintain the spanning tree, so a shorter Hello Time makes topology changes detectable faster at the cost of slightly more control-plane overhead. The standard default of 2 seconds is typical unless an admin has a specific reason to tune convergence speed on this TrCRF.
Examples

Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.32.6.1.1.5.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-TS-STACK-MIB::ciscoTsTrCRFInfoSpanningTreeBridgeHelloTime.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.32.6.1.1.5.1 s <value>
