Description: The value used as the Forwarding Delay in this TrCRF. The range for this parameter is 400 to 3000 and is related to the value of dtrSpanningTreeBridgeMaxAge. See 802.1D-1990 for the relationship between dot1dStpBridgeMaxAge and dot1dStpBridgeForwardDelay. The granularity of this timer is specified to be 1/100 of a second. This agent will return a 'badValue' error if a set is attempted to a value which is not a whole number of seconds.

What is ciscoTsTrCRFInfoSpanningTreeBridgeForwardDelay?

This read-write Timeout sets the Forward Delay timer for this TrCRF's spanning tree instance, valid from 400 to 3000 in units of 1/100 second (4.00 to 30.00 seconds), and the description flags it's related to the TrCRF's Max Age setting per 802.1D-1990, plus that only whole-second values are actually accepted, a set to a non-whole-second value returns badValue. An admin tuning STP convergence speed on a TrCRF with a stable, low-latency topology might lower this toward the minimum to speed up recovery from a topology change, while a larger, more variable network would keep it closer to the standard 15-second default. This timer directly affects how long ports stay in the listening/learning states before forwarding after a topology change.
