Access: read-only

Description: The set of ports in this switch which are active in this channel. Each octet within the value of this object specifies a set of eight ports, with the first octet specifying ports 1 through 8, the second octet specifying ports 9 through 16, etc. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the lowest numbered port, and the least significant bit represents the highest numbered port. Thus, each port of the switch is represented by a single bit within the value of this object. If that bit has a value of '1' then that port is included in the set of active ports; the port is not included if its bit has a value of '0'.

The maximum number of ports in a channel and therefore the maximum number of bits in this object containing '1' values is 8.

What is ciscoTsTCActivePorts?

This read-only OCTET STRING (4 bytes) is a bitmask reporting which ports configured into this TokenChannel, via ciscoTsTCPorts, are actually up and active right now. Comparing this against the configured ciscoTsTCPorts bitmask tells an admin exactly which specific member port has failed when ciscoTsTCStatus reports reduced(3), rather than just knowing the channel overall is degraded. A channel configured with ports 5 and 6 but showing only port 5's bit set here means port 6 has dropped out of the channel.
