This read-only Counter reports how many distinct station addresses are currently active in the address table specifically for this port, as opposed to the switch-wide count in ciscoTsStackSwitchCurrActStations. An admin checking this on a port expected to serve a single device, like a server uplink, but seeing a much higher count would suspect an unmanaged hub or unexpected additional devices sharing that port. A port known to connect one workstation should show a value of 1, not several.
