An admin reads this to confirm the cabling actually matches the intended design before troubleshooting stack-wide features like RMON or trap distribution, since those depend on how many switches are really in the stack. Seeing back-to-back(2) when eight switches were expected would immediately flag a cabling or Matrix module problem.
