Description: The counter associated with the number of high priority unicast packets going to the Physical medium dependent layer in a particular 15-minute interval in the past 24 hours.

What is srpRingIntUcastHighPriPktsOut?

This is a 64-bit counter of unicast frames (packet count) being transmitted from this node onto the fiber, specifically the high-priority portion of that traffic, per SRP's two-level QoS scheme, measured over one specific, already-completed 15-minute bucket from the rolling 24-hour history, rather than a live count. Because this is measured on the fiber side, it includes traffic this node is simply relaying past on behalf of other ring nodes, not just traffic this router itself originates or consumes, SRP's high-priority class is always serviced ahead of low-priority traffic when the ring is congested, so a rising trend here at the expense of the matching low-priority counter is a sign that latency-sensitive traffic is starting to crowd out best-effort traffic on this ring, with unicast traffic being the more direct proxy for ordinary point-to-point application load between specific ring nodes. For instance, this counter might read 459,696 unicast HighPri packets over that window on a moderately busy ring node.
