Description: The boolean flag to indicate node LockedOut of protection state. If it's true than Intelligent Protection Swiching is disabled and the node will not wrap on either side of the interface.

What is srpIpsLockedOut?

This object is a boolean that, when true, disables Intelligent Protection Switching on this node so it will not wrap on either side of the interface. This is a deliberate override an admin might set during planned maintenance on this specific node, for example so a test fault does not trigger an automatic ring wrap and disrupt other traffic, but leaving it true unintentionally means a real fault at this node will not trigger protection, causing an outage that self-healing would otherwise have avoided. Forgetting to reset srpIpsLockedOut to false after maintenance means a subsequent unrelated fiber cut elsewhere on the ring could still cause an outage through this node, because it has been told not to wrap even though it otherwise would need to.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-SRP-MIB::srpIpsLockedOut

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.60.1.1.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-SRP-MIB::srpIpsLockedOut.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.60.1.1.1.5.1 s <value>
