What is cnpdAllStatsOutBitRate?
This gauge is the outbound counterpart, reporting the current bit rate of traffic classified as a given protocol leaving the interface. It is useful for spotting an unexpected outbound surge, such as a compromised host on the LAN suddenly pushing large amounts of traffic for an unusual protocol out to the internet. A sudden jump in this value for a protocol the network normally does not see much outbound traffic for, like DNS suddenly showing a high outbound bit rate, could be an early indicator of a DNS tunneling exfiltration attempt.
