cieTestConnEntryStatus

Module: CISCO-IP-ENCRYPTION-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-IP-ENCRYPTION-MIB::cieTestConnEntryStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.52.1.4.1.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: The status of this table entry. Once the entry status is set to active, the associate entry cannot be modified until the sequence completes (cieTestConnSessionStatus has value other than inprogress ).

What is cieTestConnEntryStatus?

This RowStatus object controls the lifecycle of a test-connection table row, and per its description, once set to active the row cannot be modified until the test sequence completes (indicated by cieTestConnSessionStatus no longer showing 'inprogress'). It's the standard SNMP create/activate/delete gate for this table, and the lock-while-active behavior specifically prevents an admin from changing test parameters mid-run and getting inconsistent results. An admin who tries to edit cieTestConnCryptoMapName on a row whose status is 'active' while the test is still running would find the set rejected until the test finishes.
