Module: CISCO-IP-ENCRYPTION-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-IP-ENCRYPTION-MIB::cieEsaTampered
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.52.1.2.1.1.4

What is cieEsaTampered?
This TruthValue reports whether this device's Encryption Service Adapter (ESA) hardware has been physically tampered with, per its description, and explicitly does not apply to software-based encryption engines. It matters because a tampered ESA is a hardware security event - many ESA modules are designed to zeroize their keys or disable themselves once tamper is detected, so this flag going 'true' typically coincides with that crypto hardware becoming unusable. An admin seeing this flip to true on a router would treat it as a physical-security incident requiring hardware replacement, not a software fix.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.52.1.2.1.1.4 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-IP-ENCRYPTION-MIB::cieEsaTampered
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.52.1.2.1.1.4.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-IP-ENCRYPTION-MIB::cieEsaTampered.1
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cieEsaTampered.1
