What is cifIkeGlobalInNewGrpReqs?
This counts how many IKE New Group Mode exchanges - the legacy mechanism for negotiating a private, non-standard Diffie-Hellman group - have been initiated against this device by remote peers, per its description. Because New Group Mode is rarely used by current IKE stacks, any nonzero value is a signal that a peer is configured with an old-style custom DH group rather than one of the standard numbered groups. A branch gateway running decade-old VPN firmware might drive this counter from 0 to 2 the moment it first connects with its custom 1536-bit group definition.
