This is the 16-bit Fletcher Checksum. This is the integrity checksum computed over the LSP's contents using the Fletcher algorithm, the standard OSI checksum method, and any router receiving an LSP whose contents do not match this checksum will silently discard it, which is exactly the class of corrupted-in-transit LSPs never counted anywhere, including in ciiSysStatCorrLSPs. For example, two routers holding what should be identical copies of the same LSP but showing different checksum values here would indicate the LSP got corrupted somewhere between them, likely by a memory or transmission fault on the path.
