Description: Circuits in the same mesh group act as a virtual multiaccess network. LSPs seen on one circuit in a mesh group will not be flooded to another circuit in the same mesh group. If ciiCircMeshGroupEnabled is inactive or blocked, this value is ignored.

What is ciiCircMeshGroup?

Circuits in the same mesh group act as a virtual multiaccess network, and this value is ignored if ciiCircMeshGroupEnabled is inactive or blocked. This is the numeric group identifier tying multiple circuits together into the flood-reduction meshgroup described above, and it is silently ignored unless ciiCircMeshGroupEnabled is actually set to set(3) on that circuit. For example, assigning mesh group ID 5 to four parallel point-to-point circuits between the same two routers groups them together so an LSP received on one of those four links is not redundantly re-flooded back out the other three.
