What is ciiCircLevelDRHelloTimer?

This is the period, in milliseconds, between Hello PDUs on multiaccess networks when this Intermediate System is the Designated Intermediate System, following the resettingTimer behavior. When this router is elected DIS on a LAN segment it switches to this typically faster Hello interval rather than the normal ciiCircLevelHelloTimer, since the DIS's Hellos need to go out more frequently to speed up detection of a new router joining or a re-election becoming necessary. For example, a DIS commonly uses a DR hello timer of one-third the normal interval, such as 3.3 seconds instead of 10, so non-DIS routers on the segment learn about DIS changes faster than the standard Hello cadence would allow.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.118.1.4.1.1.10
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-IETF-ISIS-MIB::ciiCircLevelDRHelloTimer

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.118.1.4.1.1.10.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-IETF-ISIS-MIB::ciiCircLevelDRHelloTimer.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.118.1.4.1.1.10.1 i <value>
