Description: Indicates the number of bypass tunnels indicated in mplsFrrConfProtectingTuns whose operStatus is up(1) indicating that they are currently protecting facilities on this LSR using the FRR feature. This object MUST return 0 if mplsFrrConstProtectionMethod is set to facilityBackup(1).

What is cmplsFrrActProtectedTuns?

This counts how many of the bypass tunnels listed in cmplsFrrConfProtectingTuns currently report operStatus up, meaning they are genuinely ready to protect facilities right now rather than merely configured. It is the value an admin should watch to confirm bypass paths are actually usable at this moment, since a tunnel that is configured but not operationally up would fail to protect its facility if called on. For example, if 3 bypass tunnels are configured and only 2 report operStatus up, this value reads 2, signaling that one configured bypass tunnel is down and its facility is currently unprotected.
