Description: This object indicates the user local current notification severity for the resource owner sub-type and resource user/group relationship.
For example, lets assume that the resource user 'RU-1' has utilized the 'processor' memory more than the applied *minor* severity user local rising threshold value (and its utilization is still above the corresponding falling threshold value), then current user local notification severity for the 'processor' memory <-> 'RU-1' relationship would be 'minor'.
What is cermResUserOrGroupNotifSeverity?
This reports the current user-local notification severity for a specific resource user's or group's utilization of a resource owner sub-type -- the severity tier tied to per-user thresholds rather than the systemwide global ones. Because this is scored independently of the global severity field, a single process can be flagged at a high local severity, having exceeded its own specific allowance, even while the resource pool as a whole is nowhere near its global threshold, letting an admin catch one runaway process early. Per the MIB's own example, if resource user RU-1 exceeds its per-user minor rising threshold for processor memory while overall memory usage stays modest, this field for RU-1 would show a minor severity even though the resource owner's own global severity stays clear.
