Description: This object indicates the policy name corresponding to the resource owner <-> resource user relationship being watched by the resource monitor. If there is no corresponding applied resource policy for the resource owner and resource user in the entry, then this object will contain zero-length string.

This object indicates the cermPolicyName object value in one of the resource policy entry in the cermConfigPolicyTable.

What is cermResMonitorResPolicyName?

This reports which named resource policy, matching a cermPolicyName entry, is currently governing the specific resource-owner-to-resource-user relationship this monitor is watching, or a zero-length string if no policy has been applied to that pairing. This tells an admin, for a given actively-running monitor, exactly which set of thresholds is being enforced, useful when troubleshooting why a monitor is not alerting as expected, since an empty value here means no policy is actually applied despite the monitor existing. A monitor watching the BGP Router process against processor memory showing this field empty would explain why that process can consume unlimited memory without triggering any threshold alert.
