This flag controls whether threshold violations under this resource policy get logged to syslog, independent of whether they also trigger SNMP traps. Enabling this gives an admin a persistent, searchable local record of resource threshold events even on a device where the SNMP trap receiver might be temporarily unreachable or where syslog is the team's preferred audit trail. With this set to true, a memory threshold breach under this policy would produce a syslog entry timestamped and stored locally, letting an admin retroactively correlate a device reload with a resource exhaustion event even if the SNMP trap was never received by the NMS.
