Description: This is a textual string containing name of the resource user type to which the resource group belongs. Only the resource user instance of the same resource user type, can be added into the resource group.

What is cermConfigResGroupUserTypeName?

This names the resource user type that a given resource group is restricted to, meaning only resource user instances belonging to that same type can be added as members of the group. This type restriction prevents an admin from accidentally mixing unrelated categories of resource consumers, say IOS processes and hardware interfaces, into one group, which would make the group's combined usage percentage a meaningless mix of unrelated resource types. A resource group configured with this field set to 'IOS Process' would reject an attempt to add a hardware Interface resource user as a member, since that user type does not match the group's configured type.

Examples

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.510.1.3.3.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-ERM-MIB::cermConfigResGroupUserTypeName.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.510.1.3.3.1.2.1 s <value>
