The vendor information field is within the Local Information TLV, and can be used to determine additional information about the peer entity. The format of the vendor information is unspecified within the 32-bit field. This value is initialized to zero before any Local Information TLV is received.

Reports vendor-specific information about the peer OAM entity as carried in the Local Information TLV of the latest received OAMPDU, giving additional detail about the remote device.
