ccsCmFlapRowStatus

Module: CISCO-CABLE-SPECTRUM-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CABLE-SPECTRUM-MIB::ccsCmFlapRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.114.1.1.11.1.14

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: Controls and reflects the status of rows in this table.

When a cable modem triggers a flap detector, if an entry does not already exist for this cable modem, an entry will be created in this table. The new instance of this object will be set to active(1). All flapping modems have the status of active(1).

Active entries are removed from the table after they have not triggered any additional flap detectors for the period of time defined in ccsFlapAging. Alternatively, setting this instance to destroy(6) will remove the entry immediately.

createAndGo(4) and createAndWait(5) are not supported.

What is ccsCmFlapRowStatus?

A read-write status control for entries in the cable modem flap-list table; a row is automatically created and set active when a cable modem triggers the flap detector, indicating unstable connectivity events for that modem.
