What is ciscoatmSigSupportAALInfo?
This read-write object indicates whether to accept, transfer, and deliver the ATM Adaptation Layer Parameters Information Element from the calling party to the called party. This IE carries the specific AAL configuration parameters the caller wants to use, so disabling its delivery means the called device won't learn the exact adaptation-layer settings the caller intends, which can cause a connection to come up at the ATM cell layer while the two ends' AAL processing disagrees and application data never gets through cleanly. An AAL5 connection where the caller specified a particular maximum SDU size via this IE, never received because this is disabled, could end up with the two ends assuming different frame-size limits.
