ciscoatmInterfaceCurrentMaxSvccVpi
Module: CISCO-ATM2-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-ATM2-MIB::ciscoatmInterfaceCurrentMaxSvccVpi
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.23.1.3.1.19
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The maximum VPI that the signalling stack on the ATM interface may currently allocate to switched virtual channel connections. This value is the minimum of ciscoatmInterfaceConfMaxSvccVpi, and the ciscoatmInterfaceConfMaxSvccVpi of the interface's UNI/NNI peer.
If the interface does not negotiate with its peer to determine the maximum VPI that can be allocated to SVCCs on the interface, then the value of this object must equal ciscoatmInterfaceConfMaxSvccVpi.
What is ciscoatmInterfaceCurrentMaxSvccVpi?
This read-only value reports the maximum VPI the signalling stack may currently allocate to switched virtual channel connections, computed as the minimum of this interface's own configured maximum and its peer's, or a fixed value if not negotiated. It's the SVCC equivalent of ciscoatmInterfaceCurrentMaxSvpcVpi, the real negotiated ceiling right now, and it's the object to check first when new switched virtual channel connections fail to establish with a VPI-range error despite the local configuration appearing to allow it. A peer that only negotiates support for VPI values up to 5 for SVCCs would make this object read 5 even if the local configuration allows up to 15.
