Description: This represents the amount of flash ROM memory installed on the NAC in Kbytes.
What is uchasSlotFlashInstalled?
This integer reports the amount of flash ROM, in kilobytes, installed on the NAC in this slot, which determines how large a firmware image that specific card can hold and therefore whether it can be upgraded to a newer software release. An admin cares about this ahead of a firmware rollout across a chassis full of NACs, since a card with too little flash simply cannot accept an image that has grown past its capacity. For example, if a new firmware image is 512KB and this object reports only 256 for the card in slot 3, that card needs a flash upgrade or replacement before the rest of the chassis can be moved to the new release.
