What is chasFanTray2State?
This object reports the operational status of fan tray 2 in the chassis, the redundant counterpart to chasFanTray1State. An admin checks both fan tray objects together to confirm true cooling redundancy remains intact, since a chassis running on only one healthy fan tray has reduced margin before a thermal event if the second one also fails. A chassis reporting chasFanTray1State normal but this object failed still cools adequately for now, but the admin should treat it as a priority repair before the remaining tray also degrades.
