This object holds the requested/configured accounting storage method, disabled, wire, or disk, as opposed to chasAccountMethodInUse which reports what's actually active. An admin switching billing collection strategy, for example moving from local disk storage to a networked collection device, sets this object, then verifies the change actually took effect by checking chasAccountMethodInUse afterward. An admin migrating from disk-based to wire-based billing collection would SET this object to wire(2), then confirm chasAccountMethodInUse also updates to wire(2) to verify the change applied successfully.
