What is gnLptStatStatus?

A bitmask status byte for the low-speed port where each set bit indicates an active alarm condition, such as LOP (loss of pointer), RDI, AIS, TIM, SLM/PLM, SD, EXC, or UNEQ, giving a consolidated view of the port's alarm state.
