What is cellularIdentityInfoImei?
This reports the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity), the globally unique hardware serial number, of the device's cellular modem, encoded as an octet string. An admin uses this to positively identify which physical cellular modem is installed and reporting into this MIB, which matters for warranty tracking, carrier-side device registration, or confirming a swapped modem after a hardware replacement. For example, comparing this IMEI value before and after a field service visit would confirm whether the technician actually swapped the cellular module as instructed.
