This is a write-only control object where setting the value to 'boot' causes the SNMP agent process itself to restart. An admin uses this as a remote, SNMP-based alternative to physically rebooting the node when the agent has become unresponsive or after a configuration change that requires the agent to reinitialize, without necessarily rebooting the whole switching node. For example, after the agent stops responding to polls but the node's data-forwarding is still fine, writing 'boot' here restarts just the SNMP agent rather than the entire chassis.
