cdx6500NMV54LoopbackCurrentTestPort

Module: CDX-6500-COMMON-MIB

OID (symbolic): CDX-6500-COMMON-MIB::cdx6500NMV54LoopbackCurrentTestPort

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.449.2.1.1.3.3.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Current test port. Value zero means that no port has been specified. When test completes, this object is defaulted to zero.

What is cdx6500NMV54LoopbackCurrentTestPort?

This read-write object selects the port (0 to 54) for the newer consolidated loopback mechanism, where a value of zero explicitly means no port is currently selected, and the node automatically resets this back to zero once a test completes. This auto-reset behavior distinguishes it from cdx6500NMV54CurrentTestPort, and means an admin scripting repeated tests must re-set the port number before every run rather than assuming it persists. For example, after a test on port 30 finishes, this object reverts to 0, so the next test attempt must explicitly set 30 again or it will fail with no port selected.

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.449.2.1.1.3.3.17.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CDX-6500-COMMON-MIB::cdx6500NMV54LoopbackCurrentTestPort.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.449.2.1.1.3.3.17.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cdx6500NMV54LoopbackCurrentTestPort.1
