Setting this write-only object to setcurrentImage (1) or setalternateImage (2) selects which of the two flash banks' software image the node will actually run from; noOperation (100) does nothing. This is the activation step that follows a flash-to-flash image copy (via cdx6500ContFlashCopyImage), letting an admin switch which staged image becomes live, typically requiring a subsequent boot to take effect. For example, after copying a newly downloaded image into the alternate bank, an admin would set this to setalternateImage to make that bank the one used on the next boot.
