Description: Triple DES (3xDES) Transmit Encrypt Key #4. The key length is 192 bits (24 Bytes or 48 HEX characters).
What is cdmipTransmitKey4?
This holds the fourth of eight possible 192-bit Triple DES transmit encryption keys, entered as a 48-character hex string. Because cdmipIpRouteDesKey also allows random(9) as a route's key selection, having multiple concrete key slots like this one populated gives that random-selection mode an actual pool of distinct keys to draw from rather than one key reused everywhere. If only key1 were populated and keys 2 through 8, including this one, were left blank, selecting random(9) on a route would not provide any real key diversity.
