Description: Triple DES (3xDES) Transmit Encrypt Key #2. The key length is 192 bits (24 bytes or 48 HEX characters).
What is cdmipTransmitKey2?
This holds the second of eight possible 192-bit Triple DES transmit encryption keys, entered as a 48-character hex string. Assigning different routes to different key slots via cdmipIpRouteDesKey lets separate traffic flows use independent encryption keys, so compromising or rotating the key used for one route's traffic does not affect routes on other keys. A route carrying traffic for a second customer or business unit might be pinned to key2 specifically so its encryption key never needs to be shared with anyone managing the routes on key1.
