Description: The total number of IP packets sent to the Satellite interface.
What is cdmipTotalIpPacketsRoutedToSatellite?
This counts the total number of IP packets sent out to the Satellite interface. This is the outbound-to-satellite counterpart to cdmipTotalIpPacketsFromEthernet, and comparing their growth rates shows how much Ethernet-side traffic is actually being routed uplink versus absorbed or dropped locally. On a site with no active satellite-bound routes configured, this counter staying flat at zero while cdmipTotalIpPacketsFromEthernet climbs would indicate incoming Ethernet traffic has nowhere satellite-bound to go.
