Description: IP address of the SMTP server on your local LAN.
What is cdmipSmtpServerIpAddress?
This holds the IP address of the SMTP mail server the modem uses to send outbound email, such as alarm notifications. Since this must be an SMTP server reachable from the modem's local LAN rather than the satellite side, it needs to point at infrastructure actually accessible from wherever the modem's Ethernet management port sits, or alarm emails will simply never be delivered. Setting this to 192.168.1.25, the address of an on-site mail relay, lets the modem hand off alarm emails locally rather than needing direct internet SMTP access.
