This read-only object reports one of several specific Tx traffic fault states: Tx traffic OK(0), no clock from terrestrial interface(1), Tx FIFO slip(3), loss of external reference(5), AUPC upper limit reached(7), AIS detected on incoming data(9), or bipolar violation on the G.703 interface(11). Each value isolates a distinct stage of the transmit path where a fault occurred -- no clock from terrestrial interface points to a terrestrial-side clocking problem with nothing to do with the satellite RF chain at all, while AUPC upper limit reached specifically means the automatic power control loop has run out of headroom, directly connecting this alarm to the cdm570AUPCTxPowerMaxIncrease ceiling and cdm570AUPCActionOnMaxPower configuration. A unit reporting aupcUpperLimitReached(7) during a storm tells an admin the AUPC system has already used all the power increase it's permitted and the fade may now be exceeding what automatic compensation alone can handle.
