This read-only object is the index (1-255) into one of the four demodulators' stored statistics table. This is what allows the unit's periodically-sampled performance history, date, time, average and minimum Eb/No per sample interval, to be retrieved as an ordered sequence of records, similar in structure to the event log but for scheduled statistical samples rather than discrete fault events. An admin building a trend chart of overnight signal quality would walk this index from 1 through however many samples were logged during that period, pulling the associated date, time, and Eb/No values for each.
