Description: This is a SET command for clearing all the Satellite statistic counters.
What is cdd564SatelliteClearCounters?
Writing clear(1) to this object is a SET command that clears all of the satellite statistic counters covered above. This is the satellite-side counterpart to cdd564IPRoutingClearCounters and cdd564EthernetClearCounters, used to zero out the RF/HDLC-layer error and frame counters after resolving a satellite-link issue so subsequent monitoring reflects the post-fix state. After confirming a rain-fade event has passed and Eb/No has recovered, an admin would SET this object to 1 to reset the elevated HDLC CRC error counts accumulated during the fade.
